Jazz Marathon 2024 is making a triumphant return in Hong Kong! Get ready for the ultimate jazz extravaganza, a thrilling annual party celebrating the International Jazz Day.
Spinning three days, from 26 to 28 April, the event pulls out all the stops to foster a vibrant cultural exchange, bringing together a stellar lineup of international acts.
Thanks to the support of the Italian Cultural Institute, the Italian-Argentine band Aires Tango will arrive in Hong Kong and will perform during the opening night of the Festival.
Led by Led by saxophonist and composer Javier Girotto, with Alessandro Gwis on piano, Michele Rabbia on percussion and Marco Siniscalco on bass, this band, proposing a sanguine fusion of jazz and tango music, will offer the audience a mix of typical elements of Italian jazz and the rich Argentine musical traditions.
