The exhibition of master Griffa at the MASSIMODECARLO gallery is the artist’s first solo show in Asia. The project will bring together a rather heterogeneous collection of works: Connections/Contaminations from the 1970s and 1980s, two new Fields from 2026, a series Griffa has recently returned to working on but with a different approach to composition compared to the 1980s, two Fields from the 1980s, Primary Signs also from the 1970s, a Shaman, and a Three Lines with arabesque.
The presentation held by Architect Cesare Griffa, founder of the Giorgio Griffa’s Archive, aims to offer a complete view of the master’s production over the decades, from his earliest works in the 1970s to today.

The MASSIMODECARLO gallery is set to coordinate a presentation on master Griffa’s artistic discourse, led by the artist’s son in conversation with a curator chosen from professionals at M+ and CHAT (Center for Heritage Arts and Textiles), with the support of the Italian Cultural Institute and of the Consulate General of Italy in Hong Kong.
