Massimiliano Almoraima: flamenco guitar (Italy)
Teru Tsujikawa: dance, percussion (Japan)
Conrado Gmeiner: flamenco guitar (Brazil)
Almoraima was born in 2007 thanks to the encounter between flamenco guitarist Massimiliano Almoraima and musicians from other musical cultures and different regions of the world, and is characterized by its original sound, inspired by the gipsy tradition and musical connections developed in Andalusia. It is not by chance in fact that the band takes its name from the strip of land between Jerez de la Fronteira, Cordoba, and Seville.
The group, revolving around the figure of the guitarist Massimiliano Almoraima, author of the music and lyrics, can count on the collaboration of:
Conrado Gmainer: guitarist, percussionist and composer of Brazilian origins, he works as a Flamenco conductor in various activities related to Spanish culture. He studied in Brazil with Daniel Caldeira and Fernando de la Rua and in Spain with Gerardo Nunez, Jose Manuel Leon, Javier Conde and Dani Moron.
Teru Tsujikawa: dancer of Japanese origins, she fully reincarnates the myths of traditional Flamenco dance being oriental. She is a teacher and director of the dance school “Estudios por Dios” of Osaka.
PROGRAMME
