Stefano Parrino – Flute
Francesco Parrino – Violin
Maria Cecilia Berioli – Cello
Luca Ranieri – Viola
Quartetto Viotti was born following the desire of four prominent musicians to promote the tradition of chamber music with an innovative and open-minded attitude.
The extended repertoire of the ensemble widens from original and innovative readings of canonical pieces to accurate rediscoveries of less-known chamber music composers. On the other hand, Quartetto Viotti also collaborates with contemporary authors.
The name of the ensemble pays tribute to the Italian musician and composer Giovanni Battista Viotti (1755-1824), virtuous violinist and innovative contributor to the development of European culture.
The passion and wide experience of the ensemble guarantee a memorable performance thanks to the Quartet expressive quality and richness of sound.
