Which are the most famous Italian songs in the world and why?
Which songs best represent Italy abroad and why?
Professor Fabio Caon of Ca’ Foscari University of Venice will answer these and other questions in his conference of “Songs as Ambassador of Italy”, a project carried out in over 80 countries by Ca’ Foscari University in collaboration with Società Dante Alighieri.
The conference will lead its participants into an exploration of the most notable melodies of Italian music through immersive and active engagement which will allow them to discover how to learn the Italian language, as well as to approach Italian culture and literature, through song.
