Italy Aloud is an event jointly organized by Peel Street Poetry and a group of aficionados with a passion for the Italian language and poetry. The evening will feature Italian-themed spoken word, poetry, prose and theatre pieces in English translation with a hint of Italian interspersed, and a musical intermezzo.
Everyone is welcome to this special night and the entry is FREE; drinks are “2 for 1” until 9.00 pm.
The event will include classic and modern Italian poetry, theatre pieces and special performances inspired by Italy and Italian poets/writers by members of Peel Street Poetry and the public.
