The Italian Cultural Institute and Shaw Auditorium Unit, HKUST are glad to present the piano concert “Places of Music: Postcards from Soul” by Italian pianist Alessandro Martire.
Every composition by Alessandro Martire seems to follow a natural law: lightness as a form of depth. His notes do not weigh, they do not insist. They settle on the air like reflections of light, drawing sonic gardens in which silence itself becomes part of the music. In this suspended space, balance and purity coexist; between the human gesture and the breath of nature, between the precision of sound and its inevitable escape.
