On March 29th, Italian light artist Angelo Bonello, the mastermind behind the light art project ILLUMINATE: RUN BEYOND, showcased his latest project at the Wanchai Harbourfront Event Space. He, together with the local partners and the director of the Italian Cultural Institute in Hong Kong (IIC HK), Ms. Fratarcangeli were all present during the opening ceremony. In particular, the director of the IIC HK thanked the local organizers for hosting such event and introduced the Italian artist who, for the first time, showed his light projects in Hong Kong. The installation, composed of more than 20 figures in the process of running and jumping in “dreamlike surrealism”, was on display for the whole month of April and brightened the harbor with its fantastic lights.
