With a history spanning over half a century, the Italian chamber orchestra “I Solisti Veneti” founded by Claudio Scimone is recognized as one of the best in the world.
Presented and supported by Sun Lee Ltd. and ArsNova, “I Solisti Veneti” makes a much welcome return after their 2009 success in Hong Kong. The orchestra and the acclaimed guitarist Riccardo Tamai will perform at the Hong Kong City Hall Concert Hall on 30 April for one show only. Tickets are available now from URBTIX, www.urbtix.com.
With a track record of performances including 5000 concerts in more than 80 countries, the orchestra has won numerous awards such as the Grand Prix du Disque de l’Academie Charles Cros of Paris and the Grammy. They have recorded with luminaries in the music scene from Salvatore Accardo, Ruggero Raimondi to Placido Domingo, Marylin Horne and James Galway.
