at the “A.Steffani” Conservatory, Castelfranco Veneto (Italy).He
then furthered his guitar technique for four years at the Francisco
Tàrrega Academy of Guitar Interpretation, Pordenone, with Stefano Viola
and Paolo Pegoraro. He also attended several masterclasses held by
internationally-renowned artists such as Alvaro Pierri, Carlo Marchione,
the Gruber-Maklar duo,David Russel and Manuel Barrueco. He shared his love and passion for music by teaching classicalguitar to students in Italy from 2004 to 2009 at a number of public music schools.In
the summers of 2009 and 2010 he was awarded a diploma with merit from
the prestigious Chigiana Academy Siena, in the class held by Oscar
Ghiglia. As admirer of Master Stefano Grondona, one of the
greatest modern musicians, Riccardo Tamai perfected his technique in
concert performance.Since Autumn 2009, he has gained
considerable experience abroad, giving concerts and teaching classes in
the United States, Europe and Asia. In Spring 2013 he played as special
guest soloist with theinternationally renowned Italian chamber
orchestra “I Solisti Veneti” in a tour touching the most attractive
concert halls in China (Shanghai, Guangzhou) and Hong Kong.During
Autumn 2014, he presented the classical guitar in a Solo Guitar Recital
tour (Xi’An Concert Hall, QingHai Grand Theather, Lanzhou Gansu Grand
Theatre, Guangzhou Opera House, Shanghai SHOAC) achieving great success
