Luigi Antonio Nicolardi - Piano
Jacopo Taddei - Sax

Graduated with honors in Lecce, Luigi Antonio Nicolardi continued his studies at Conservatorio G. Verdi in Milan. In 2015 he took part in the inaugural concert of Piano City Milan, performing alongside the German pianist and composer Hauschka.

While participating in different recording projects, Luigi is widely active in Milan’s concert season, and also performed within important events and festivals in France and Germany. Luigi, alongside his colleague Jacopo Taddei, made in 2018 his debut in New York, for the New York Chamber Music Festival and in Miami, for the International Miami Piano Festival.

Jacopo and Luigi recently won the Absolute First Prize in the fortieth edition of Palmi's 'Cilea', a podium that had not been awarded since 2005. Keen on teaching in secondary education, Luigi’s musical work on the phenomenon of bullying was awarded at the Venice Biennale with the 'Silver Lion for Creativity'.

Winner of the prestigious Claudio Abbado Prize, saxophonist Jacopo Taddei is already recognized at only 23 years old by critics and music newspapers for his brilliant technique, exuberance and delicacy.

Jacopo began his musical studies at the age of eight. He studied at Pesaro Conservatory, later achieving his Master’s Degree in Saxophone in Milan. Jacopo played recitals in some of the most esteemed Italian concert halls and recently had the opportunity to take refinement classes in Boston at Berklee. Some of his Italian concerts have been broadcast by National Channel RaiRadio3 and Radio Popolare, while he’s been recording.

In the academic year 2015/16, Jacopo has been Professor of Saxophone at Milan Conservatory. In June 2017, Jacopo was given the Medal of the Chamber of Deputies by the President of the Chamber of Deputies in Montecitorio - as a recognition of his talent.
