Alberto Firrincieli studied piano with Sebastiano Cannizzo in “Vincenzo Bellini” Conservatory (Caltanissetta) and graduated at the age of twenty. He started to dedicate himself to the study of ancient keyboard instruments, studying organ and graduating in Harpsichord with Maria Pia Jacoboni. He also studied composition and Electronic Music at the “Arrigo Boito” Conservatory in Parma, where he graduated. He continued his education and graduated in Musicology at the University of Pavia. He also studied Harpsichord with Francesco Baroni.

He has performed in many recitals in Europe and Asia and played with different ensembles, from baroque to modern, including music for two harpsichords with the Novecembalo Ensemble, and ancient music with Baroque Me Baby, blending “Historical Performance Practice” with new ways of understanding the art of music. He regularly plays basso continuo with many chamber music groups and orchestras; he also plays piano or harpsichord in solo recitals and together with orchestras.

Maestro Firrincieli recently published his book “Tribute to Br. Martin” in honor of the President Emeritus of Assumption University; he is editing the works of the Italian baroque composer Carlo Antonio Marino. He is currently a full-time lecturer of the Department of Music Performance at the Assumption University of Thailand, where he teaches Harpsichord, Piano, Counterpoint and History of Western Music. He also teaches Piano and Harpsichord at Yamaha Ratchadapisek Music School in Bangkok. He is the founding conductor of Assumption University Gregorian Chant Choir (AUGCC). He established the International Keyboard Academy (IKA) in Thailand, organizing several musical events and collaborating with world renowned musicians.


Davide Alogna graduated both in violin and piano with honor at Conservatorio “G. Verdi” (Como) and he obtained his master diploma in soloist violin and chamber music at the Conservatoire de Paris under the guidance of Maryvonne Le Dizès with “Premier Prix à l'Unanimité” (2006). He is currently a violin professor at Conservatorio “F. Cilea” of Reggio Calabria and at Institut Supérieur de Musique et de Pédagogie (IMEP) of Bruxelles.

In 2009 he was given a Stradivari (1717) “ex Heifetz” to play during several concerts for the National TV channel RAI and exhibitions for the Italian Government. Winner of several national and international competitions, in 2012 he was the first violinist at the Varallo Valsesia Competion for soloist to receive an honor mention with Mozart Concerto K216 for violin and orchestra. His soloist career has begun with the “Prix d’Interpretation Musicale 2009” de la Cité Internationale Universitaire de Paris; in 2010 he has been awarded the “Excellence Price in Music 2010” in Milan.

Maestro Alogna has been playing as soloist in some of the most important music halls in Italy and abroad such as Berliner Philarmonie, Salle Cortot in Paris, Ateneo de Madrid, Novomatic Forum in Wien, Auditorium Verdi of Milano, Gasteig and Herculeshalle in Munich. He regularly performs both with many orchestras including Orchestra Filarmonica Toscanini, Orchestra Sinfonica di Sanremo, Orchestra Filarmonica Italiana; and alongside great conductors and soloists such as Riccardo Muti, Eliahu Inbal, Lior Shambadal, Claudio Abbado. He has recorded many CDs for international labels like Amadeus, Brillant Classics, Velut Luna, Phoenix Classics, Map Edition Classics.
