All the way from Italy, Marco Pacassoni Trio featuring Stefano Manoni and Lorenzo De Angeli is going to perform at our Valentine’s Day special charity event – “Vibrant Atmosphere with Marco Pacassoni”.

The vibraphone and marimba reach a perfect balance with the bass and the drums to deliver one whimsical and beautiful piece after another. This concert is the prefect celebration to Hong Kong’s reopening with your loved ones.

All proceed and donation goes to selected local charities.

 

Bio:

Marco Pacassoni

Marco Pacassoni is graduated cum laude at "G. Rossini" conservatory and in Professional Music at Berklee College of Music of Boston cum laude.

He studied with Gary Burton, Ed Saindon, Victor Mendoza, Daniele Di Gregorio, Eguie Castrillo, John Ramsey, Steve Wilkes.

On 2005 Marco wins the award of the best jazz italian talent at "Chicco Bettinardi Competition" organized by Piacenza Jazz Festival.

Marco has been played with Michel Camilo, John Patitucci, Antonio Sanchez, Alex Acuna, Horacio "el negro" Hernandez, Steve Smith, John Beck, Amik Guerra, Trent Austin, Greg Hutchinson, Chihiro Yamanaka, Bungaro, Malika Ayane, Petra Magoni, Raphael Gualazzi, Luca Barbarossa, Francesco Cafiso, Massimo Manzi, Massimo Moriconi, Filippo Lattanzi, Daniele Di Gregorio, Paolo Belli, Luca Colombo, Cesare Chiodo, THE BEST OF and many others...

...as leader, Marco released Finally (Groovemaster Edition 2011), Happiness (AlfaMusic 2014), Grazie (Nasswetter Music Group 2017) and Frank & Ruth (Esordisco 2018), Life (Egea Music April 2022)

Marco is percussion faculty at Liceo Musicale Marconi in Pesaro and at Urbino University for italian semsters of University of Texas San Antonio.

Marco tought Masterclasses of Vibraphone at prestigious american colleges such as Oberlin Conservatory (Ohio), University of Minneapolis (Minnesota), Eastman School of Music (Rochester), Columbus University (Ohio), Cleveland University (Ohio), University of Texas San Antonio (Texas) and Washington University St. Louis (Missouri).

On April 2014 Marco release a harmony and composition book "Quasi quasi scrivo una canzone..." Rodaviva Edizioni.

Stefano Manoni

Stefano Manoni studied at the “G. Rossini” Conservatory in Pesaro where he graduated in Percussion in 2001 brilliantly. Stefano played as percussionist for many years with F.O.R.M. (Marche Regional Orchestra Foundation) directed by wellknown directors like Patrick Fournillier, Karen Durgarjan, Riccardo Muti and Andrea Battistoni. He played with “Luigi Cherubini Orchestra” directed by Maestro Riccardo Muti and with “Rossini Symphony Orchestra” taking part to “Rossini Opera Festival” every year. He improved his drums studies with specific drums masters and international seminars with Lele Melotti, Dom Fomularo, Tommy Campbell, Mike Mangini, Skip Hadden, Ed Saindon, Evelyn Glennie and David Garibaldi.

He performed with many famous italian artists like Andrea Bocelli, Antonella Ruggiero, Fausto Leali, Massimo Ranieri, Stefano Bollani,, Giovanni Allevi and Fabrizio Bosso. He played as drummer with “Compagnia della Rancia” for the musical "A Chorus Line". Stefano became officially part of the Trio with the vibraphonist Marco Pacassoni performing in Jazz Clubs and taking part of International Jazz Festivals like “Zappanale Festival Bad Doberan” in Germany and at PASIC (Percussive Arts Society) in Indianapolis USA.

Moreover, Stefano teaches Percussion at the “C. Rinaldini” Music High School in Ancona.

 

Lorenzo De Angeli

He has been teaching electric bass and guitar for 20 years in various private schools including:
"PROFESSIONE MUSICA" directed by Maestro Davide Di Gregorio, Urbino. "SORGENTE" Aggregation Center in Lunano from 1994 to 2004 Youth Aggregation Center of the municipality of Montelabbate Music center "IL BARCO" Urbania, teacher for Bass and Electric Guitar courses from 1998 to date, and as coordinator of the Ensemble Music course. Music School of Sant'Angelo in Vado, teacher for the Bass and Guitar courses. Accademia Musicale città di Cattolica as an electric bass teacher, from 2017 to date. Hall of Music in Morciano di Romagna as an Electric Bass teacher, from 2017 to date. Zero-Crossing Academy in Pesaro and Fano,  teacher for the Electric Bass and Harmony course from 2007 to date.
