Tenor Trilogy | The Centenary – FREE ONLINE

The three videos can be found at this LINK.

***

2021 is the Centenary of an authentic Tenor Trilogy.

We remember the death of Enrico Caruso, the king of tenors, the birth of Franco Corelli, the tenor who gave voice to the heroes of the opera, and the birth of Giuseppe Di Stefano, who gave sensuality to the singing line.

Three unique and unrepeatable characters of the Italian Opera who have made our operas known and appreciated all over the world.

To celebrate this important anniversary, the Teatro alla Scala in Milan has created an extraordinary online exhibition dedicated to the Trio of Tenors.

I then asked Andrea Scarduelli, an internationally prominent figure in the entertainment and opera sector to take over the splendid material made available by La Scala.

Scarduelli has made three videos for us that tell the man behind the artist, behind the tenor, behind the character. He did it by telling us the story of these three magical voices through their record legacy, in the studio and live.

Andrea Scarduelli reminded us that according to Caruso, the singer could convincingly interpret the characters of the opera only if he had really suffered in real life, according to Di Stefano, only if he had loved with infinite passion, according to Corelli, only if he had studied the score thoroughly and solved any problem and if every note, every sound was perfectly pigeonholed in its place.

Three exciting videos, full of emotions, curiosities, anecdotes and images.

I therefore invite you to watch and listen to:
