Starring Patra Au and Maggie Li, it offers a feminine perspective on Yeung&#8217;s previous work, <strong><em>Suk Suk<\/em><\/strong> (2019). The closing film on 8 April will be the Asian premiere of <strong><em>All the Long Nights<\/em><\/strong>, directed by Miyake Sho and starring Matsumura Hokuto and Kamishiraishi Mone.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Joining HKIFF48 Ambassador Karena Lam, Filmmaker-in-Focus Fruit Chan, Ray Yeung, and the cast of <strong><em>All Shall Be Well<\/em><\/strong> at today&#8217;s media event including director Ho Miu-ki and producer Chan Hing-ka of <strong><em>Love Lies<\/em><\/strong>, co-director Trevor Choi and actress Jessica Chan of <strong><em>Fresh Off Markham<\/em><\/strong>, executive producer Law Kar and director\/editor Donna Ong of the documentary <strong><em>Cinema Strada<\/em><\/strong>, and director Wong Siu-pong of <strong><em>Obedience<\/em><\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>The<\/strong>\u00a0<strong>Italian Cultural Institute in Hong Kong<\/strong>\u00a0is excited to support the festival and presents\u00a0<strong><em>Il Grido<\/em>\u00a0<\/strong>(1957) by\u00a0<strong>Michelangelo Antonioni, <em>Kidnapped <\/em><\/strong>(2023) by\u00a0<strong>Marco Bellocchio<\/strong>\u00a0and\u00a0<strong><em>Io Capitano<\/em><\/strong>\u00a0(2023) by\u00a0<strong>Matteo Garrone<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The screenings for each movie are the followings:<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong><em>Il Grido<\/em>\u00a0<\/strong><br \/>\n28 March (THU) Premiere Elements 9:30pm<br \/>\n30 March (SAT) M+ Cinema 2:30pm<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong><em>Kidnapped<\/em><\/strong><br \/>\n28 March (THU) Premiere Elements 9:15pm<br \/>\n1 April (MON) Premiere Elements 3:00pm<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong><em>Io Capitano<\/em><\/strong><br \/>\n29 March (FRI) Premiere Elements 2:45pm<br \/>\n31 March (SUN) Premiere Elements 12:30pm<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">As part of an ongoing effort to make cinema accessible and affordable to the public, HKIFF48 will continue to offer a discounted fare of $28 to students, the elderly, people with disabilities, and CSSA recipients.\u00a0 There will also be free community screenings.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The complete programme and screening schedule are now available on HKIFF&#8217;s official website (<a href=\"http:\/\/www.hkiff.org.hk\/\">www.hkiff.org.hk<\/a>).\u00a0 The public can purchase tickets from 10 am on Tuesday, 12 March, through all URBTIX outlets.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"8th March 2024 The 48th Hong Kong International Film Festival (HKIFF48) has announced its full line-up at a media event today.\u00a0 The festival will showcase over 190 films from 62 countries and regions, including five world premieres, six international premieres, and 64 Asian premieres.
