Large turnout at the experimental intercultural concert staged by Italo-Cantonese jazz ensemble Yut Quartet and the musicians of the Chinese Opera School of the Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts.
At the concert, among the guests of honor, in addition to the dean of the HKAPA Chinese Opera School, Prof. Martin Lau, were the director of the Italian Cultural Institute, Ms. Alice Fratarcangeli, and the Consul General, Mr. Carmelo Ficarra.
The concert, Anime in Viaggio (Travelling Souls), besides being an artistic exchange between Cantonese opera and Italian jazz, allowed the audience to embark on a journey where the two musical worlds could communicate through languages, rhythms, and emotions.
