We are glad to announce that RAI CULTURA has dedicated an article (in Italian) to the HKWALLS 2024 Festival which was held in Hong Kong between the 22nd and 31st of March and in particular to the Italian artists Alice Pasquini and UNO who were both invited by this Institute to participate to this project.
The Festival, promoted by the EUNIC Cluster of Hong Kong whose member include the Italian Cultural Institute, Alliance Française, Goethe-Institut and the Consulate General of the Czech Republic, has reached its ninth edition this year and had climate change as its main theme.
This year’s project EU Street Art Meets Hong Kong: Green for Street involved several international artists from European countries but also from the United States, mainland China and Hong Kong.
During the event, Alice Pasquini presented her series of works entitled Look UP Series, while UNO created the mural entitled Polo Stellato to celebrate the 700th anniversary of the death of the great Italian explorer Marco Polo.
The festival was enriched with conferences, workshops and art talks during which the artists had the chance to share their creative process and their vision on the role of Street Art in culture-led urban regeneration actions and in the fight against climate change.
