Antonio Rezza and Flavia Mastrella, Golden Lions for Lifetime Achievement at the Venice Biennale Teatro, invite participants into their unique creative universe, in a masterclass organized by the Italian Cultural Institute and dedicated to their artistic practice and collaborative language.
The encounter will open with the screening of selected excerpts from The Roof and the Chance, the interactive television programme produced in Italy for RAI3. From there, the artists will guide the audience through their creative process using photographs, video materials, anecdotes, and personal stories that trace the development of their work.
The masterclass will include brief performative moments, including an exercise drawn from 8-11-13-17, a piece exploring the logic and the paradoxes of numerical civilization.
The session will conclude with an open dialogue, offering space for questions, curiosities, and direct exchange with the artists.
