Adriatic Sea, from Naples to Polignano a Mare, from “O sole mio” to
“Volare”, this will be an emotional journey through the most beautiful
songs of southern Italy known and hummed around the world and
reintroduced in a new form, where the beauty of vocal Italic echoes
through the six strings of a guitar solo in an extraordinary
metamorphosis music.———Born in Puglia, Italy, in 1964, Maestro Paradiso
(“Nicola” to his friends) earned a Diploma in guitar performance with
distinction in 1987. Beginning in the late 1980s and for well over a
decade, he competed in various national and international guitar
competitions, taking the Gold Medal at the “Pergolesi” Competition in
Naples and the Palme d’Or at the International “San Bartolomeo a Mare”
Competition in Imperia.Maestro Paradiso’s specialty is the
melodious repertoire of native Italian songs, for which he has created
memorable solo guitar transcriptions. He has performed several concertos
for guitar and orchestra, and as a chamber musician, he has been part
of several ensembles – from duos with flute, violin, and harp, to larger
ensembles with voice, percussion, and strings, collaborating with
acclaimed artists from Italy and beyond.Maestro Paradiso wrote
the acclaimed introductory guitar method in three volumes, La Chitarra
Volante (“The Flying Guitar,” Curci Editions, Milan).  For several
years, La Chitarra Volante has placed among the Top Ten best-selling
publications in Italy in the instrumental “music education” category. 
In recent years, Maestro Paradiso has also published several original
works for solo guitar and guitar ensemble: Preludi Sentimentali, La
Chitarra Volante Ensemble (vols. 1 & 2), I love Guitar (arrangements
of works by Remo Vinciguerra), Danze Latino Americane, and Impressioni
Faunistiche.He is regularly invited to lead seminars and
workshops in Italy and abroad, to teach his principles of guitar
pedagogy.  He has received wide recognition for his pedagogical work,
including two “Maestro d’Italia” prizes, awarded in Barletta in 2008 and
2012.He gives master classes on methodology worldwide, while continuing to develop new teaching strategies in his own home town.PROGRAMMEThe

guitar, with original elaborations of classic songs emblematic of the
