Lobos: Etude XIIBorn in Bologna in 1986, Giordano Passini started studying music at the age of 12; after a year of piano studies he passed on to classical guitar with guitarist and composer Cristian Gentilini.He
then continued his guitar studies with Master Giovanni Maselli, while
the theoretical study and analysis of music with Master Gentilini.In 2011 he graduated at Licinio Refice conservatory, Frosinone, Italy.At
the end of 2011 he attended, for two years, the specialization master
at “Tarrega Guitar Academy” in Pordenone with Master Paolo Pegoraro and
Master Adriano Del Sal. In 2013 he attended a specialization master
at “Il Cantiere della Musica”, Monterotondo (Rome), under the guidance
of Master Arturo Tallini.He participated in a lot of Master
Classes with important international guitar players including: Ricardo
Jesus Gallén, Carlos Barbosa Lima, Roland Dyens, Walter Zanetti,
Francois Laurent, Guido Fichtner, Johannes Tappert, Eduardo Eguez,
Johannes Tonio Kreusch, Adriano Del Sal, Roberto Tascini.He played concerts in
main institutions and music festivals like: “Intorno alla Chitarra”
Alba (Cuneo), “Incontri chitarristici Acerrani” Acerra (Naples),
“Festival Paganini” Parma, “Amici della Pieve” Vergato (Bologna),
“Concerti sotto la Luna” Costigliole d’Asti (Asti), Sala Trastevere in
Rome, “Invito all’ascolto” Rastignano (Bologna), Solarino Guitar
Festival of Siracusa, “A Passo di Musica” Sasso Marconi (Bologna),
Tienda Ramirez (Madrid), Auditorium San Francisco (Avila) among others.He made his debut as soloist with orchestra performing “Fantasia para un gentilhombre” by J. Rodrigo.During
the celebrations of the Italian Republic Day in 2014, he performed in a
concert at the Italian Embassy in Albania at the presence of the

plays a guitar made by the Neapolitan guitar maker Alessandro Marseglia
and one made by the guitar maker Luciano Lovadina from Treviso.On
the English magazine “Classical Guitar Magazine” (August 2012 issue)
there was published an interview about him written by Lawrence Del
Casale.In 2014 he released his first solo CD entitled “Frammenti” containing music for guitar of the twentieth century.On October 26, 2014, an interview was broadcast on “Radio Vaticana” for the presentation of his first album.Winner
in 2014 of the prize created by “Giovani Confcommercio – Ascom Bologna”
dedicated to “Massimo Zivieri” for passion, innovation and expertise,
he is also the founder, chairman and professor of classical guitar at
the music school “Ousia Armonica” in the area of Bologna and Modena since 2006.During 2010 – 2011 he has been teaching classical guitar in the “G.Marconi” school in Castelfranco, Emilia.In 2009 he created and still conducts, as artistic director, the International Classical Guitar Festival “Claxica” that in just a few editions has become a landmark in the guitar landscape, hosting guitarists coming from all over the world (www.claxica.it).
