The first bombings arrive, forcing many to leave the country, others to take up arms, and almost everyone to face separations, fears, the lack of basic necessities, and mourning. The film is a journey told by the director, driven by the need to reach the emotional epicenter of this conflict, starting from Warsaw and crossing the cities of Lviv and Odessa and the forgotten countryside of Ukraine, reaching Kyiv, Irpin, Bucha, Borodyanka. She meets those who have crossed the border to survive or help the resistance, or those who have stayed in their own land, continuing to fight to defend the country and their own culture.
