Albatros Ensemble – Between Music and Movies – Flute, Violin and Piano Concert – FREE EVENT

Stefano Parrino, Francesco Parrino, Alessandro Marangoni

The Albatros Ensemble is a group that has been active on the national and international concert scene since 1990 and which has
established itself by the particularity of the ensemble, the refinement
of the repertoire, the emotional force of its interpretations which,
according to the music critic of the Swiss newspaper Le Quotidien de La
Côte, are capable of producing “authentic coups de coeur” in listeners
through their ability to combine “nuances and magical atmospheres,
sometimes melancholy, sometimes vigorous”. In addition to the public and
critical praise that the ensemble has to its credit, there are also
glowing judgements from important composers like Ivan Fedele, who
considers the Albatros Ensemble to be “one of the most important
realities of the young Italian Chamber Music scene” or Andrew Frank, who
has said of the group: “Technically the Albatros is perfection, a
marvellous ensemble”. Interest in twentieth century and
contemporary music has led the ensemble to collaborate with numerous
composers, among whom we note Rocco Abate, Alessandro Annunziata, Bruno
Bettinelli, Luciano Chailly, Fabrizio Festa, Simone Fontanelli, Andrew
Frank, Giorgio Gaslini, Delilah Gutman, Antonio Iafigliola, Luca Mosca,
Flavio Emilio Scogna, Alessandro Solbiati, Giorgio Colombo Taccani,
Alessandro Timossi, Adeline Wong and Danuta Zankowska. The
Albatros has an intense concert programme, collaborating with the most
prestigious Italian and international musical associations as well as
with Italian Culture Institutes. It has toured in Chile, Britain, Peru,
Romania, Russia, Slovenia and Turkey, and it has performed in theatres
and concert halls of note such as the Pump Room in Bath, St.
Martin-in-the-Fields and St. James, Piccadilly in London, the Sala
Enescu in Bucharest, the Federico II University of Val Paraiso Theatre,
