Italian vocal group Mezzotono is bringing their music to Hong Kong and giving a performance by orchestra without instruments! Featuring Fabio Lepore, Chiara Ceo, Grazia Lombardi, Marco Di Nunno and Umberto Giarletti, the group aims to give you a night of great music!
Performed in more than 70 countries and 5 continents around the world, Mezzotono is the European vocal group with the most number of nations visited with their music. Their repertoire is performed without any instruments but only five voices.
Using only five voices to imitate the sound of real instruments with a comical approach, Mezzotono encourages audience participation to stay focused and attracted to the show. The music styles include Italian songs from jazz to pop, bossa nova, mambo, tango, folk, big band or classic music, and show the endless possibilities with the voices. The performance is a mix of humor, Italian culture, entertainment and quality music.
With several international prizes won around the world, Mezzotono performed at theatres and for television (RAI, Mediaset, Sky) in Italy, and is well-loved by international audience too in Dubai Jazz Festival with James Morrison and Jonathan Butler, 12 tours theatre in China, Cairo Opera House concert, Johor Bahru Jazz Festival, London Jazz Festival, Boston Green Festival in USA, Jornadas Musicales del Norte in Chile and Argentina, and tours in 12 African nations.
After a massive year of 2023 with tours with great success in Canada, South Africa, Asia and Europe, Mezzotono could not wait to bring their music to Hong Kong and give you a special night of orchestra without instruments.
