Join a breathtaking array of Hong Kong poets as they break the language barrier to read from their latest collections – in a display of how poetry builds bridges through a shared understanding of humanity and the world and a shared love for the wonderfully complicated city we all call home. A rare opportunity to hear from Paola Caronni, Yam Gong (with translator James Shea), Daniel Hamilton, Jason Lee, Florence Ng, and Jennifer Wong.

Moderated by Louise Law.

Paola Caronni was born in Italy and has lived in Asia for over 20 years. She currently works in Hong Kong as a translator, interpreter, Italian language tutor, and Editor-in-Chief of the English edition of the online lifestyle, travel and culture magazine, Ciao Magazine.Caronni enjoys sharing her passion for poetry and writing with the community of refugees and asylum-seekers and is very active in the local Hong Kong poetry scene. She has co-organised various poetry events, with organizations including Peel Street Poetry, and The Italian Cultural Institute, and her poems have been published in various printed anthologies and online literary journals.
