Italian Cultural Institute is happy to support Maestro Federica Lotti, and Maestro Caterina Stocchi to be part of the annual Hong Kong International Flute Festival organized by Hong Kong International Flute Association.
The festival consists of Hong Kong Flute Summer Camp and Gala Concert. During the camp, participants from all over Asia will have the chance to learn from the masters and support the flute community in Hong Kong.
Flute is an instrument full of possibilities and often opens lots of rooms for expressions and improvisations for composers. At this year’s gala concert, HKIFA would like to take the audience to enjoy an evening exploring composers’ perspectives on flute fantasia!
In addition to Federica Lotti and Caterina Stocchi, international and local flute masters will perform in the Gala Concert: Megan Sterling (Principal Flute of the Hong Kong Philharmonic Orchestra), Olivier Nowak (Co-principal flute of the Hong Kong Philharmonic Orchestra), Linda Stuckey (piccolo at the Hong Kong Philharmonic Orchestra) and Ivy Chuang (Flute professor at the Hong Kong Academy of Performing Arts).
