Marco Polo and His Footprints: A Photographic Exhibition

One month of photographic exhibition to celebrate 700 years from Marco Polo’s death was held at the City University of Hong Kong and lasted for almost one month.

The exhibition was inaugurated with a lecture on March 26th by the renowned Italian journalist and writer Federico Rampini with the title: Marco Polo 700 years later: his legacy in Italian and Western History. How an Italian merchant and traveler from Venice shaped the vision of China in his time and beyond. The writer drew inspiration from his acclaimed book “Orient and Occident”.
