Andrea Marcelli (drums, compositions, arrangements ) born in Rome/Italy, resident in Berlin, successfully performed extensively in 5
continents, recorded with such labels as Verve/PolyGram and played with
musicians by the likes of Wayne Shorter, David Liebman, Bob Mintzer,
Allan Holdsworth, Markus Stockhausen, Eddie Gomez, Mike Stern, Don Menza
and others. About 200 of his compositions have been recorded and two of
them are included in “The European Real Book”.Andrea Marcelli’s
music is based on sincere musical dialogue: Italian and original
melodies transporting the listener to places known and unknown,
