Opera is a unique art form in that it combines words, story, music and movement in a single performance, a combination that has proven inspiring and uplifting for four centuries. This session will discuss the interaction between the worlds of opera and literature: not just these particular books about opera, but also the way books and literature have acted as inspiration for opera, and how opera has inspired book.
